સર્પદંશ અને ઝેરની સારવાર
Snake bite and poisoning in Idar. Anti-snake venom and ICU care, day and night.

Snake bites and pesticide poisoning are common in Sabarkantha's farms, and time decides the outcome.
Snake bite
Every bite is watched for 24 hours, even when there's no pain. Blood tests show whether the venom affects clotting. Anti-snake venom (ASV) is given in the ICU when signs appear, and a ventilator supports breathing if the venom affects the nerves.
Poisoning
Pesticides, rat poison, kerosene and medicine overdoses are treated with antidotes, monitoring and breathing support. Bring the bottle or packet: the label tells the team what to give.

Frequently asked questions
Should every snake bite come to hospital?
Yes. Some venom takes hours to show effects, so every bite needs observation for 24 hours.
What should we bring for a poisoning case?
The bottle, packet or strip of what was swallowed. It helps the ICU team choose the right antidote.
